To remain competitive, countries must strengthen their engineering value chains, and emerging issues in the global engineering arena, such as new models of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), trade-in-services, and technology changes, require continuous adaptation..

To achieve sustainable economic development, the report emphasizes the need to strengthen the engineering skills pipeline and build engineering capacity in key sectors of the national and county governments.

In conclusion Countries must invest in building engineering capacity and creating a skilled workforce that can meet the challenges of emerging issues in the global engineering arena. By strengthening the engineering skills pipeline and building engineering capacity in key sectors of government, Kenya can eliminate building and infrastructure collapses and promote sustainable economic development.
